Kayaking Tours Re-commencing October 2020

It is with much excitement that we see Australia slowly re-opening after COVID-19 restrictions. We believe kayaking is a low risk outdoor activity with natural social separation and we can't wait to get back on the water. All our Tasmanian sea kayaking tours are scheduled to re-start on the 1st October, with additional cleaning and precautions in line with government guidelines. We have also revised our refund policy as outlined below:

COVID-19 CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
If any tour is cancelled due to COVID-19 travel restrictions into Tasmania from your home state, we will offer a full refund, including refunding deposits paid for multi-day expeditions.

Full payment for multi-day expeditions is not required until travel restrictions have been lifted and your expedition is confirmed. Once your expedition has been confirmed, full payment is due 60 days prior to the departure date.

Winter Opening Hours

Our office is open Wednesday to Friday until 30th September. If you have any questions about kayaking in Tasmania next summer, please feel to contact us on 0455 94 9777 or info@roaring40skayaking.com.au. We look forward to seeing you on the water soon.

Australian Tourism Awards GOLD

We are beyond excited and proud to have won Australia's Best Adventure Tourism Operator at the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards recently. We love what we do and we work hard to ensure everyone's kayaking and Tasmanian experience is a memorable one, and we are so proud of our team being recognised with this award.

Tasmania as a whole shone at these awards and we stood beaming broadly with our fellow tourism operators as we celebrated seven gold awards and a grand total of 17 awards overall when you add in silver and bronze. With so many extraordinary and diverse expeirences waiting for you in our small island state, why wouldn't you Holiday at Home in Tasmania this year.

TripAdvisor - Top 10 experiences in Australia

We are also thrilled to have been recognised as one of the Top 10 Experiences in Australia with a 2019 TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice Award. We’re so proud of our crew who are all so passionate about what they do! Thank you too to everyone who has paddled with us and written a review. We love receiving reviews as it helps us keep improving and motivated.

Travellers Choice® Awards are based on the millions of reviews and opinions collected in a single year from TripAdvisor travellers and represent the best-of-the-best, according to travellers themselves (TripAdvisor 2019).

2020/21 Southwest Tasmania kayaking expedition dates

Feedback from our Southwest expeditioners regularly states, “would have loved more time to explore Melaleuca”. We’ve listened and now our 7-day expeditions are 8 days but still with 7 days of kayaking! The first night is spent at Melaleuca with time to explore this historic wilderness area before setting off to explore Bathurst Harbour and Port Davey.
