Hobart's iconic waterfront .... from a different perspective
Nestled between river and mountain, Hobart has one of the most picturesque harbours in the world. Join our 2.5-hour city paddle and we’ll take you behind the scenes of this vibrant, working waterfront to discover the true heart of Hobart.
Get up-close and personal with the southern hemisphere's highest sea cliffs OR enjoy a relaxing day paddle exploring Hobart's diverse river and coast.
Two exhilarating and different adventures.
On the Tasman Peninsula paddle we kayak along the Tasman National Park coastline appreciating the scale of Australia's highest sea cliffs and keeping an eye out for the resident Australian fur seals. This is our most demanding paddle and you need to be fit enough to paddle for approximately 5 hours (with a break or lunch). The spectacular scenery makes the effort worthwhile!
On our Hobart's Beaches, Cliffs and Caves paddle (formally called the Tinderbox Paddle) we paddle amongst tranquil bays and beneath the lichen-covered cliffs, explore sea caves, enjoy views of Bruny Island and leave footprints on idyllic sandy beaches. This is a great day paddle if you haven't kayaked much before, with approximately 4 hour of relaxed paddling (with a break for lunch).
